Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility Statement

Mil-Tree Veteran Project is a Morongo Basin based nonprofit serving the greater Southern California region. For a decade, we've championed veterans' causes and fostered community engagement to combat veteran isolation. In 2020, we reassessed our board culture, reaffirming our dedication to uplifting diverse communities in our region and beyond.

Embodying the diversity of the regions we serve, our board, staff, volunteers, advisors, and stakeholders represent a wide spectrum of backgrounds, including veterans, their families, the disabled, all genders, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and artists. We believe these diverse perspectives enrich our mission, fostering innovative problem-solving and creativity. We're actively engaging with these various communities, inviting them to collaborate on programming and partner for event and program design. More than just a promise, this inclusivity drives transformative experiences and achieves better results.
