Garden Kick Off/Paint Day! Come help paint the garden wicking beds, this is fun kid stuff, but adults can come, too! Sign up for your own bed and you can learn how to do high-desert, water-saving vegetable gardening. From 1:00 until 4:00 pm. Can arrive late or leave early.
Sunday, October 8:
Set up a Wicking Bed Learn how to set up a Wicking Bed (a hands-on project) in order to grow a low maintenance garden in the high-desert using less water than a traditional garden. If there is no time available to garden now, all are welcome to attend and observe for their future gardening projects at home. Adults and children are welcome! From 1:00 until 4:00 pm. Can arrive late or leave early.

Plant Seedlings Learn hands on how and when to plant seedlings in order to take advantage of the growing season in the High Desert Adults and children are welcome! From 1:00 until 4:00pm. Can arrive late or leave early.
Sunday, October 22:
How to Maintain a Wicking Bed Learn how often to water, what to do about pests, how to harvest, and more. Adults and children are welcome! From 1:00 until 4:00 pm. Can arrive late or leave early.
Sunday, October 29:
How to Set Up a Growing Station and Start Your Own Seedlings Learn how to start your own seedlings at home along with advice on where to purchase seeds, grow lights, and how to repurpose items you may have at home to build a growing station. Adults and children are welcome! From 1:00 until 4:00 pm. Can arrive late or leave early.
