About the Event
On its fourth year running, Mil-Tree presents MOJAVE NOIR, a gathering of local crime/noir writers with other Southern California authors in the genre reading their bleak fiction accompanied by live atmospheric music. Co-produced and hosted by local author/journalist Gabriel Hart (author of On High at Red Tide), MOJAVE NOIR is a benefit for Mil-Tree, our local veteran outreach organization. Our 29 Palms Book Fest edition features BRIAN O'HARE (veteran and author of Surrender), MATTHEW PHILLIPS (author of A Good Rush of Blood), GRANT WAMACK (veteran and author of Black Gypsies), DUNCAN BIRMINGHAM (author of The Cult In My Garage, writer/director of Who Invited Them?, and NADIA CLARK (veteran/writer).
Live music by Ron Therrio
