About the Event
Join Mil-Tree and Photographer Casey Kiernan for a sunset hike and photography outing in Joshua Tree National Park
Open to veterans, active duty, military family members and civilians
Join us for a nature walk and talk with Casey! He’ll be sharing his tips for capturing the natural beauty of the park at sunset, as well as his journey as a professional photographer.
The hike will be approximately 1/4 mile on flat and easy terrain. Please wear closed toe shoes and bring a water bottle and light jacket as it can get chilly in the evenings at higher altitudes.
No special equipment required! --but please let us know what you’re bringing. Cell phone, digital or analog cameras are all welcome! Tripod not necessary.
Where and when: 5pm— meet in front of the Road Runner Cafe/Joshua Tree National Park Visitors Center at 6554 Park Blvd, in Joshua Tree, CA
